The New York Giants visit the New England Patriots on a short week and there are significant injuries for both teams. The Giants offense will be severely hampered, with Saquon Barkley (high ankle sprain) and Wayne Gallman (concussion) both out as it’ll be tough to get a running game going. In addition, Sterling Shepard is slated to be out with a concussion while Evan Engram is projected to be out with a MCL knee sprain. All four players above have officially been ruled out.. The Giants are missing both their number one/two running and passing options against New England. Their offensive line is healthy though and their defensive run defense should be stronger. Two startling linebackers, including signal caller Alec Ogletree will be back Thursday. The Patriots defense is healthy with Patrick Chung  being the only player who has been limited. Offensively, the Pats are getting healthier. Three wide receivers are on the injury report, with Phillip Dorsett likely to miss Thursday's game. Julian Edelman (ribs) and Josh Gordon (knee) will play through injuries. The Patriots offensive line is becoming more stable with Marcus Cannon being back for the third straight week. Who knows what will happen on Thursday night, but this be trending towards a low scoring game.
