Twitter can become polarizing, but positive interactions can be had and it is still a great connector. On Twitter, we replied to followers asking for video analysis of the Odell Beckham Jr. ACL rehab progress. Beckham Jr., the man himself, responded and agreed with our analysis. He looks great at four months post-op ACL reconstruction and demonstrates great athleticism in the video but is far from ready. He acknowledged my comment that deceleration and cutting are the key (not acceleration) and that progress has yet to come. Beckham did object to my comment that the video seemed sped up and denied that. The video was shot using a cell phone camera and then posted on social media which likely disrupted the frame rate. The Browns wideout adds that the video posted was not even his max speed. At this rate, Beckham Jr. is on pace to be ready and productive for the start of the 2021 season and will get even better as the year progresses. Remember, it is easier for a wide receiver to perform early off an ACL operation as opposed to a defensive player who have to react unlike offensive players who can dictate the play. Look for Beckham Jr. to have a productive 2021 season in his second season under Kevin Stefanski.
