Kirksey exited the Sunday night game vs the Saints and was subsequently declared out with a shoulder injury. By video we didn't see the injury happen, but on his final play but he did end up taking a knee on the field. Two previous plays we do see where the runner almost breakthrough a tackle with his outstretched right arm, and this could be the cause. Last season he had a PEC tendon rupture and missed the year with surgery, but luckily there is no visual evidence of a re-aggravation of the pec. However this would be the worst case scenario given his history and how he left the game. We hope it's more of a pec or shoulder strain than any sort of re-tear, but we will need to wait for further info.
