Packers' Whitney Mercilus Returns To Practice For First Time Since Biceps Tear

Whitney Mercilus, the veteran Packers outside linebacker, returned to practice Thursday, nearly two months since suffering a torn biceps in his left arm.

The 10-year veteran suffered the injury Week 10 and was reported to be done for the season after undergoing surgery.

He was spotted wearing a big brace during his limited practice reps, but a two month recovery is certainly remarkable for Mercilus.

The ProFootballDocs believe Mercilus has an outside chance of playing in the early rounds of the playoffs.

If the Packers continue to win and can get to the conference championships, or the Super Bowl, Mercilus could certainly be an option at weakside linebacker for Green Bay.

The NFC's No. 1 seed could also get left tackle David Bakhtiari, strong side linebacker Za'Darius Smith and top cornerback Jaire Alexander back for the Divisional Round.
