Whitney Mercilus, the Packers backup weakside linebacker, suffered a biceps injury in the third quarter of Week 10. He was injured on a pass rush and left the game before being deemed questionable to return. Mercilus, who joined the team after playing for the Texans earlier this season, was playing behind Preston Smith. We don't expect him to return to the ball game. The severity of the injury is unclear. A distal rupture would mean surgery and likely be season-ending. All other biceps injuries would be recoverable.
