Parris Campbell Potentially Has Lisfranc Injury, Could Be Season-Ending

Colts head coach Frank Reich told reporters Monday that wide receiver Parris Campbell suffered a significant foot injury against the Texans on Sunday. Campbell left the game after scoring a 51-yard touchdown on a deep throw from quarterback Carson Wentz. Upon reviewing the video, Campbell gets his left foot landed on by Houston defender Terrence Brooks. Based on the injury mechanism, we have significant worry for a midfoot sprain, also known as a Lisfranc sprain. If Campbell does in fact have a Lisfranc sprain, we would anticipate at minimum an IR stint. Depending on the severity, there is potential the injury is season ending and could require surgery.

After his catch, the 24-year-old celebrates the touchdown and doesn't seem to be bothered by the injury, but was seen hobbling on the sideline. He was ruled out of the game before the next series.

The Colts have injury issues at the wide receiver spot, with T.Y. Hilton also potentially out for a while with a hamstring injury he suffered Sunday.
