Pat Freiermuth, the Steelers rookie tight end, was ruled out of the game against the Titans with a concussion.
Freiermuth also suffered a concussion Week 12 against the Bengals. He returned Week 13 and has not missed time since.
With this being his second concussion in recent weeks we don't expect him to be able to return for a Week 16 matchup against the Chiefs and he could likely face a multi-week absence.
With backup tight end Eric Ebron on IR, Zach Gentry will handle the tight end duties.
Ebron was placed on IR before the Week 12 contest and is eligible to return at any time, however his practice window has not been opened.
