In his second game back after dislocating the patella, Mahomes set a career-high in rushing on Monday night. He survived a hit to his right knee then finished the game fine. Patellas commonly dislocate/redislocate without direct contact. In fact, his initial dislocation was with minimal direct contact. Mahomes seemed more mobile Monday night, but he is still wearing a brace and still could be seen favoring it at times. The hope is he can get through this season effectively and likely have surgery in the offseason for a more permanent fix.
