Patrick Peterson Injures Right Hamstring Late in Game Against Carolina, IR Stint Likely

Vikings top cornerback Patrick Peterson injured his hamstring late in the fourth quarter against Carolina and left the game. By video, Peterson strained the hamstring in his right leg on a deep incomplete pass targeting D.J. Moore. Peterson was helped off the field by two trainers and couldn't put much weight on his leg. He will not return to the game and we think there is a significant chance he ends up being place on IR.

Update

The Vikings public relations team tweeted that Peterson is questionable to return with cramps.
