Patriots QB Drake Maye Exits For Concussion Check, Will Not Return

Update 10/27 11:25am PT - Drake Maye has been ruled out

New England Patriots QB Drake Maye exited the game in the 2nd quarter against the New York Jets for a concussion check after sliding and taking a hit to the head from LB Jamien Sherwood.

Maye is officially questionable to return and Jacoby Brissett will be the quarterback for the Patriots. We have given Maye and SIC Health Score of 49.

As Maye went from the medical tent to the locker-room the further evaluation increases the chances that Maye will not return today.

In Week 9 the Patriots will play the Titans in Tennessee.
