Phillip Lindsay will remain out for another 2-4 weeks with a turf toe injury, as we predicted. Turf toe makes it difficult for players to trust their plants to make cuts, and affects speed as well. Both of these will seriously impact Lindsay's quick running style until he is healed. In his absence, the Broncos are lucky to have Melvin Gordon III and Royce Freeman, who form a good 1-2 punch of their own with a mix of speed and power. Rookie camp standout Levante Bellamy has been raised from the practice squad as well.
