The Pittsburgh Steelers defense will be slim when they take on the Chargers this weekend, as they are without stalwarts T.J. Watt, Joe Haden, and Minkah Fitzpatrick. All three did not participate during practice this week. Watt is nursing hip and knee injuries he suffered in last week's 16-16 tie with the Lions. We believe Watt is dealing with the after-effects of a hyperextended knee, but he should be able to return next week. Haden is recovering from a mid-foot sprain he also suffered in the Week 10 bout in Detroit, but head coach Mike Tomlin said the injury is not serious. Minkah Fitzpatrick tested positive for COVID-19 and was played on the reserve/COVID-19 list last Monday. The Steelers will also be without rookie defensive lineman Isaiahh Loudermilk, who has a groin injury. Watt is second in the NFL with 12.5 sacks, while Fitzpatrick leads the team with 64 tackles.
