ProBasketballDoc: Joe Ingles Suffers Torn Left ACL

Utah Jazz sharpshooting wing Joe Ingles will be out for the season after a significant non-contact left knee injury Sunday night.

Based on video, the 34-year-old tore his ACL and potentially suffered MCL damage on the non-contact play, according to our team of ProBasketballDocs.

Utah will know the extent of the injury after an MRI on Monday, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Ingles suffered the injury when his leg buckled on a drive midway through the 2nd quarter of the 126-106 loss to the Timberwolves.

The Australian quickly went down after an awkward step, cradling his left knee before walking off the court.

Ingles has been remarkably healthy, missing only 14 games in his 8-year career, all with the Jazz. He is averaging 7.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 40.4% from the field.

The Olympic Bronze Medalist will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
