Burrow has a relatively clean health history going into the 2020 NFL draft which allowed him to enjoy an impressive career at LSU totaling 78 passing touchdowns while throwing just 11 interceptions. The former Ohio St Buckeye broke his right throwing hand in 2017 during August camp which caused him to miss three games and drop to three on the depth chart. He showed no ill effects from the injury and threw for 60 touchdowns in his final collegiate season. Hand and finger issues are common in the throwing hands of quarterbacks but this will not be a factor in evaluation or draft position. Burrow is poised to be the number one overall pick in the draft after winning the 2019 Heisman trophy and turning in impressive performances including three consecutive games throwing 350 yards.
