The Vipers explosive kick returner WR/CB Rannell Hall was injured on Saturday after suffering an injury during a kickoff return late in the second quarter. By video, Hall suffered an apparent right AC joint sprain and was placed on injured reserve. The Vipers are dealing with multiple injuries at the cornerback position as number one corner Shelton Lewis is on injured reserve with a hand injury and depth corner Jalen Collins missed the Vipers last matchup with an ankle injury. To help with the piling injuries at secondary, Tampa traded linebacker Anthony Stubbs for corner Trey Caldwell. With the new style of kickoff presented in the XFL to control the number of injuries, this is the first injury we have seen on a kick return this year.
