Green Bay Packers linebacker Rashan Gary appeared suffer a significant right knee injury in the third quarter against the Lions.
By video, Gary was injured on a non-contact play when he planted his right leg and attempted to twist and turn to follow the screen pass.
Based on the injury mechanism, the Pro Football Docs have significant worry that Gary suffered a torn ACL on the play.
He left the locker room on crutches and will undoubtedly get an MRI on Monday to evaluate the extent of the damage.
If confirmed, Gary would be done for the season and likely out at least the first half of next season.
The 2019 12th overall pick out of Michigan has 6 sacks, 7 tackles for a loss and 32 combined tackles in 9 games this season.
Krys Barnes would likely take his place if Gary is out extended time. De'Vondre Campbell missed Week 9 with a knee injury and may not make it back for next week against the Cowboys.
