The Ravens placed backup quarterback Tyler Huntley on the COVID reserve list Saturday, meaning Josh Johnson will get the start Sunday against the Bengals.
Starting quarterback Lamar Jackson missed practice for the second straight week as he recovers from a bone bruise in his right ankle. He is questionable for the game, but we don't expect him to suit up.
If Jackson were dealing with an ankle sprain he could likely play through the injury, but the bone bruise needs rest to fully heal.
Johnson will be playing in his fourth game for his second team this season, after playing three games for the Jets earlier in the year.
He was 29 for 45 in those three games with 334 passing yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. Johnson also had four rushes for 18 yards.
The winner of the Ravens/Bengals matchup will claim the top spot in the AFC North.
