Nick Boyle suffers a season ending left knee injury on a low but legal hit. By video, his foot was trapped and his knee was hyper extended and bent. Undoubtedly, he has a knee dislocation type injury with multiple ligaments torn. The hope is that his nerves and arteries are intact. He ultimately will require surgery in a prolonged recovery, which may not have him ready for the following season. This is a significant injury, more so then isolated ACL tear. Best wishes to tight in Nick Boyle in his recovery.
