Ravens' Tyre Phillips Exits With Left Knee Injury, Questionable to Return

Tyre Phillips, the Ravens backup tackle/guard, suffered a left knee injury just before halftime against the Packers.

By video, Phillips had his left leg landed on by right guard Kevin Zeitler. Phillips wears a brace on his left knee and the brace may have saved him from a serious MCL sprain.

We still believe he suffered a mild left knee MCL sprain. He has been deemed questionable to return with a knee injury.

Phillips injured the MCL in the same knee Week 1 and missed four games. When he returned, it was as a backup guard/tackle.

He was playing at right tackle for the injured Patrick Mekari. Jaryd Jones-Smith will likely fill in at right tackle if Phillips can't return.
