The Bengals started their 2023 campaign slowly before recently surging, while the Ravens are experiencing one of their best seasons since Lamar Jackson won his MVP trophy. However, both teams have faced numerous key injuries, including some occurring last week.
Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley was enjoying an excellent season after missing the majority of the last three seasons due to injuries. However, he sustained a right high ankle/MCL sprain last week, making his participation against the Bengals unlikely. Fortunately, this injury is on the opposite side from his previous left ankle issues.
Marlon Humphrey, the standout corner for the Ravens on one of the NFL's top defenses this year, suffered a calf injury last week, ruling him out against the Bengals. Fortunately, it appears he has avoided a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Ravens wide receiver Devin Duvernay will likely play a limited amount of snaps on Thursday night due to battling a hamstring injury.
Bengals star defensive end Trey Hendrickson is anticipated to face the Ravens despite sustaining a left knee MCL sprain in the closing moments of last week's loss to the Texans. He may not be as disruptive as usual, but his participation is confirmed.
Bengals' second-ranked wide receiver, Tee Higgins, is experiencing a sluggish season amid ongoing injuries shared with his quarterback, Joe Burrow. Higgins has been sidelined for Week 11 due to a hamstring injury that also kept him out of last week's game.
Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard will sit out his first game of the season after sustaining an ankle injury against the Texans. While Hubbard's injury isn't anticipated to be long-term, the short recovery window has impacted his chances of playing.
