Freeman was released by the Falcons and is now a free agent. He has had multiple minor issues over the last two seasons. Freeman only played two games in 2018 due to a knee injury and then was placed on injured reserve after undergoing groin surgery. Given the number of injuries and the freeze on team physicians examining players as well as a running back who's has been devalued, I expect that Freeman is unlikely to be signed till the NFL self-imposed visit freeze is lifted. Teams would want to have their own physician examine Freeman before making an offer to him. We are not saying he is not injury prone or unsignable but given the other running backs available I would think a team would want to do a thorough medical before making any offers.
