Reports are that Jerrick McKinnon is training with Redskins running back Adrian Peterson. McKinnon suffered an ACL injury during the final practice of the 2018 preseason. However, bad news has surfaced and apparently McKinnon has just began cutting. He is now 20 months removed from the initial injury. Last season, we were pessimistic about his status in our 2019 preseason report and sadly this is true for the upcoming season as well. His process appears to be slow and at this point, a successful season for him is unlikely heading into the 2020 season.
