Kerryon Johnson had a strong start to his rookie season and even was the first Lions ball carrier since Reggie Bush to gain 100 yards in a game. Last season, he turned in a strong performance against the Chiefs, putting up 125 yards and a touchdown on 26 rushes. However, Johnson failed to rush for 50 yards in six of the eight games he played last year. In Week 8, he injured his right knee and underwent a knee scope. He was placed on injured reserve, but returned to play in Weeks 16 and 17. We do not know the exact nature of the injury, but my expectation is that he should be good to go for 2020 with few worries. Johnson has shown up to camp with a brace on said knee but has shown no limitations in drills.
