Look for a bounce back year from Saquon Barkley in 2020. Although he rushed for just over 1,000 yards and added 6 touchdowns last season in 13 games, many expected more from him after his explosive rookie campaign. In 2018, Barkley galloped for 1,307 yards and 11 touchdowns while staying healthy for all 16 games. As we reported first during the Giants’ Week 3 game, Barkley suffered a moderate high ankle sprain and ended up missing three games. He made a relatively quick return, but had lingering effects from the injury. Players can return early like he did, but it usually takes months to truly be 100%. Given an extended rest in the offseason, Barkley should be 100% ready for the new season.
