Reagor Suffers Hand Injury Similar To 2019 Brees

Reagor came into the season with a shoulder labral tear from a dislocation, and needed a strap / harness to hold his shoulder in place. He will still have to undergo offseason surgery for the labral tear but the harness allows him to finish the season with the injury. The TCU product is said to have an ulnar collateral ligament tear injury as well which he suffered Week 2. Sometimes these are treated with splinting while other times surgery is the best option. Saints quarterback Drew Brees tore his collateral thumb ligament and as we predicted, he returned in six weeks and played well. Given the different demands of the position, we think Reagor could return in half that time even if he had surgery. This fits the current injured reserve three week timeline, and we expect the Eagles to take advantage of the roster flexibility here soon.
