Richard Sherman Ruled Out With Hamstring Strain

Buccaneers veteran cornerback Richard Sherman left the Thursday night game in the first quarter and has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. The 33-year-old limped to the sideline just eight minutes into the game and was quickly ruled out. Hamstring strains are nearly impossible to judge by video, but the quick rule out is a bad sign. An IR stint could be on the table for him.

Tampa Bay is already depleted in the secondary, with Carlton Davis and Sean Murphy-Bunting out for an extended period of time. Jamel Dean is the only remaining starting safety. Strong safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is inactive for Week 6 with a concussion and coverage linebacker Lavonte David is out this week after suffering an ankle injury Week 5.
