Sherman’s injury is quite sore this morning and he underwent an MRI to determine the severity of his hamstring injury. It is reported that the MRI showed a moderate hamstring strain. He also came out of the Saints game on Sunday with a right biceps contusion. Given the position he plays and the need for a strong hamstring to react to quarterbacks, I think it’s unlikely if not a foregone conclusion that Sherman will miss his next game. It is likely the 49ers will sit him out for the rest of the regular season to ensure he is ready for the playoffs.
