Phillip Rivers appeared to injure his lower limb on a blocking play. It looked like he was testing his calf, but he admitted to a toe issue. Rivers has played about 230 consecutive starts at quarterback, the longest streak in the league and we do not feel like the streak is in jeopardy. He always plays through numerous injuries and this will be no different. In any case, he is not the most mobile quarterback in the world meaning the injury should not affect his game coming off a big win against the Packers.
