Robert Woods Suffers Torn ACL in Practice, New Signee Odell Beckham Jr. To Fill Void

Veteran Rams wide receiver Robert Woods reportedly suffered a torn ACL in practice on Friday. He reportedly went down during practice, got up and finished, then tests revealed he tore his ACL. We await further details on the severity of the injury, but it seems the 29-year-old is done for the season. Woods had 45 catches for 556 yards and 4 touchdowns in 9 games this year.

The ACL tear came on the same day the Rams signed star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. The former Browns receiver will make his debut Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers and will be a welcomed addition alongside leading receiver Cooper Kupp. Beckham's shoulder issues and surgically repaired left knee are fully healthy and we expect him to look like he did on the Giants. The 29-year-old had 17 catches for 232 yards in 6 games with the Browns this season. Second-year wideout Van Jefferson should also get more looks in Woods' absence.
