The Broncos free agent signing had a good showing in his first game compiling six tackles but news has surfaced that he suffered a hamstring injury. Darby was subsequently placed on IR and will miss a minimum of three games. The corner will be evaluated on a week to week basis but with his position and risk of aggravation, the IR sting could be longer. Rookie Patrick Surtain Jr. will not be forced into a starter role and should begin to show why he was a first round draft pick.
