The Bears starting linebacker exited with a pectoral injury Thursday night. By video, it appeared he tore the pectoral tendon, but remained in the game to finish the series. The confirmation is likely to come today, which means his season is over. Smith will need surgery and he will make a full recovery in time for offseason programs.
