During the Bears Thursday night victory over the Cowboys, we posted are worries about a pectoral tendon rupture where Smith would need surgery and his season would be over. Those fears have now been confirmed by the Bears head coach Matt Nagy as their top linebacker will be done for the season and need surgery. He should be ready for the offseason program and 100 percent healthy well ahead of the 2020 season.
