The Los Angeles Chargers right tackle is headed for an extended absence after already being placed on IR two weeks ago. The IR stint has not improved his status leaving Bulaga to undergo core muscle/sports hernia repair surgery. This likely will have him out for another six weeks and a good case scenario is a December return for the oft injured RT. While the Chargers have been playing very well, they will miss the elite offensive lineman.
