Ryan Fitzpatrick Hit In Back, Should Return After Short Absence

Washington Football Team quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was hit in the back and landed on by a defender in the second quarter. By video, his hip hyperflexed when he jammed it into the ground as the defender landed on him. We would not expect a long-term absence.

UPDATE:

Fitzpatrick has been ruled out of the game. We believe he is highly likely to miss the team's upcoming game on Thursday versus the New York Giants. Reports say Fitzpatrick suffered a hip subluxation. This is why I compared it to the Tua Tagovailoa injury, although it is not as severe. He is not likely to return until October.
