The Colts drafted Julian Blackmon as their safety of the future with the 85th pick. The University of Utah product is only four months removed from surgery and in our minds there is no way he will be 100% come the start of the NFL 2020 regular season. Blackmon tore his PCL in the Pac-12 championship game but was able to showcase his ability in his final season generating 60 tackles and 4 interceptions before suffering the knee injury. He will start his career on the non-football injury list because he did not get hurt while playing in the NFL. Look for Blackmon to have a strong sophomore year for the Colts as he will likely use his rookie campaign recovering from his significant college injury.
