The Saints' pair of reliable veteran wide receivers, Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry, each did not practice on Wednesday to rest injuries they picked up in Week 3.
While Thomas has a strong chance to play through his toe injury in London Sunday morning, according to the Pro Football Docs, Landry has little to no chance to play with a high ankle sprain.
Head coach Dennis Allen couldn't say when or if the wideouts will return to practice this week.
Ian Rapoport reported on Monday morning that both injuries were considered minor, but even a minor high ankle sprain can take weeks to rehab.
Quarterback Jameis Winston was also absent from practice but the gunslinger told reporters it was a planned rest day for his back fractures and he will return on Thursday.
Chris Olave – who leads the team in receiving yards – had nine catches for 147 yards on 13 targets and Tre'Quan Smith added four receptions for 105 in place of the injured duo in Sunday's loss.
The Saints, 1-2, are 2.5-point underdogs against the Vikings, also 2-1, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
The over/under is set at 42.5, but the Saints are in the bottom-10 in points this season at 17 a game, despite being eighth in total yards.
