Darnold was cleared today, meaning his spleen passed the test and returned to normal size. When tracking mono, the spleen is often enlarged causing a contact risk for laceration or rupture. He’s stated his energy level is back and he’s ready for football. He will be the Jets quarterback this week against Dallas.
