Ian Rappaport is now saying Jets' quarterback Sam Darnold will need a three to seven week timeline while recovering from mononucleosis. This is exactly what we posted on Thursday about Darnold's illness. Due to the acute effects of the illness, the enlarged spleen liver, and the general delays there was no way Darnold would play in September. He'll be lucky to play again sometime in October, but we do expect him back in November.
