Sam Darnold, the Panthers starting quarterback, took consecutives big hits in the fourth quarter against the Falcons and has been ruled out with a concussion. Darnold ran on back to back plays and took big hits both times. By video of the second play, Darnold took a big hit to his shoulder, then hit his head hard on the ground. He walked off under his own power, but went to the locker room and was then ruled out with a concussion. P.J. Walker will take over at quarterback and took over at quarterback last week too when Darnold was benched.
