Sam Darnold suffered a reported AC joint sprain to his throwing shoulder, and status for Week 5 is in question. There are three factors contributing to this decision. The player, medical staff and team all have to confirm his return. Darnold finished out the game in Denver so he is likely willing to play, the medical staff let him play, so they are likely to greenlight him, but the team may be hesitant to risk their current franchise QB in whats looking like a lost season. Joe Flacco went in on Thursday, completed two passes and would be the QB if the team opts to sit Darnold.
