Sam Darnold Suffers Minor Shoulder Injury, Can Play With Injection

Kudos to the Jets quarterback for returning to the Thursday night game after being slammed on his throwing shoulder. Thankfully there was no clavicle fracture and just a joint sprain, as we predicted. When he went off everyone feared the worse, but we felt there was a chance he’d return and he did after a probable injection into the AC joint. He perform reasonably well and was able to fire the ball down field but it may have affected him on his accuracy somewhat. With 10 days before the next game rest, limited practice, and an injection will allow him to likely play in week 5.
