The Giants are on a bye this week but there is still running back news. Barkley only managed 13 carries for only one yard and was see getting treatment on his neck / shoulder and reportedly had post-game x-rays which raised lots of questions. Head coach Pat Shurmur shot down the idea that Barkley would go on injured reserve. In review of video, I did not see any particular injury to Barkley. To me this seems like a combination of a dealing with the high ankle sprain in the midst of a long season and a bad day at the office. Barkley should be healthier next week as he tries to get back on track for the Giants week 12 match against the Bears.
