The Injury Index here is mostly about the run game for both teams. The Cardinals are likely without David Johnson and definitely will be without his back of Chase Edmonds which caused the Cardinals to trade for Kenyan Drake who is on a couple days practice but will likely be the starter. Meanwhile, the 49ers have their own run game issues with Matt Breida dealing with what appears to be at left inversion ankle sprain. He did not practice Tuesday but there is still a chance that he could play. Tevin Coleman is good to go however fullback Kyle Juszczyk is out and potentially both starting tackles for the 49ers. San Francisco will try to maintain their position of second in the league in rushing yards per game but will be hard pressed to keep up if Breida and Staley are unable to play. The “RB” in red on the 49ers offense represents the importance of Kyle Juszczyk.
