Panthers linebacker Shaq Thompson left the game late in the second quarter with a right foot injury, but should return shortly. By video, Thompson misstepped on his right foot as he closed on the ball carrier. He was on the ground before walking off on his own power, then got his right foot taped. We hope the injury isn't serious and we expect him to return to the game and be effective.
