The Buccaneers reportedly believe that 29-year-old outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett suffered a torn Achilles during Thursday's loss.
Barrett went down and was carted off after pushing past right tackle Morgan Moses to launch and try to tackle an incoming Gus Edwards. Tampa Bay ruled him out with an ankle injury and he will undergo further tests to confirm their concerns.
The former undrafted free agent has made 31 tackles and three sacks this season and is the next in a laundry list of injured Bucs, including Akiem Hicks, Antoine Winfield Jr., and Carlton Davis III.
Barrett is in the second year of a four-year contract and has played in 60 of 63 possible games with Tampa Bay while notching 46.5 sacks, 46 TFL, and 15 combined interceptions and forced fumbles.
