SIC Matchup Analysis: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Injury Advantage: Bengals Run Offense

Star running back Joe Mixon missed last week on the COVID reserve list, but likely would have been rested for the final regular season contest either way.

The Bengals are down right guard Xavier Su'a-Filo and right tackle Riley Reiff, but get left guard Quinton Spain back from his Week 17 ankle injury.

The Raiders, meanwhile, lost starting left defensive tackle Darius Philon to a ruptured patella tendon.

Right defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins is dealing with a back issue and is questionable to play. We expect him to play, but he may have limited effectiveness.

The Bengals ranked 23rd in rushing yards gained this season, while the Raiders were 14th in rushing yards allowed

Secondary Advantage: Bengals Pass Offense

Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow's knees are healthy and ready for the Bengals' first playoff game since 2015.

The second-year quarterback tweaked his right knee Week 17 and rested Week 18, but the ProFootballDoc team is not concerned about either knee.

In his first season since tearing the ACL in his left knee, the 25-year-old threw for 4,611 yards with 34 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

He gets a matchup against a Raiders secondary without No. 1 corner Trayvon Mullen Jr. and without its starting strong safety Johnathan Abram.

No. 2 cornerback Casey Hayward is nursing an ankle injury, but will play.

Burrow has all three top wide receivers healthy and they should find plenty of room in the secondary.
