Injury: Right high ankle sprain
Impact: LP on Wednesday puts him on track to return this week. His injury in mid-September is likely to linger through the middle of October. He will likely have a SIC score in the low-to-mid 70s for at least the next two weeks.
Week 5 opponent: Miami Dolphins
Injury: Abdomen
Impact: Not much is known about Amon-Ra’s abdomen issue that caused him to miss practice on Wednesday. He was targeted late in the game in Week 4 and has had nearly a week of rest since last Thursday's game. Our staff will review game film and monitor practice reports this week to assess how effective he can be if he plays.
Week 5 opponent: Carolina Panthers
Injury: Fractured rib
Impact: Higgins did not practice on Wednesday but still has a chance to play this week. He could opt for a rib block injection to numb the pain associated with the fracture. It remains to be seen if he will do that, but if he misses time it will likely just be 1 game.
Week 5 opponent: Arizona Cardinals

Injury: __ ankle surgery recovery
Impact: Taylor has a better chance than Cooper Kupp this week but don’t be surprised to see him miss this week as he gets up to speed in a new offense. If Taylor isn’t back this week, he should make his debut in Week 6.
Week 5 opponent: Tennessee Titans
Injury: Hamstring strain
Impact: The last thing Kupp and the Rams want is another setback with the hamstring strain that landed him on IR. Expect him to miss Week 5 but have a chance to be back on limited snaps in Week 6.
Week 5 opponent: Philadelphia Eagles
Injury: Quad
Impact: DNP on Wednesday and likely to miss this week with a core muscle injury. The quad muscle is key for a running back and the Pro Football Docs do not expect him to be in the lineup this week.
Week 5 opponent: New York Jets
Injury: Right shoulder AC joint sprain
Impact: Returned to last week’s game despite the shoulder injury and will continue to play through with the help of pain-numbing injections before games. No way he misses this revenge matchup against his former team.
Week 5 opponent: Green Bay Packers
Injury: Ribs, knee
Impact: Wasn’t involved in the game plan last week after missing several days of practice to heal his injured ribs. He will miss time here and their to rest his chronic knee problem, but should be much more involved this week on Sunday night.
Week 5 opponent: Dallas Cowboys

Injury: Thigh
Impact: Will be limited in practice all week and listed as questionable, as Belichick does with nearly all injured players. It’s unclear when he picked up this thigh problem, but it was not apparent in Week 4 against the Cowboys. He rushed 14 times for 30 yards last week, while Ezekiel Elliott had 6 rushes for 16 yards.
Week 5 opponent: New York Jets
Injury: Hip contusion
Impact: The breakout fantasy running back suffered a hip contusion in last week’s overtime win. He may miss time in practice but the ailment shouldn’t affect him much in games.
Week 5 opponent: Philadelphia Eagles
Injury: Hamstring strain
Impact: The Steelers tight end is expected to miss multiple weeks with a hamstring strain he suffered in Week 4. With Pittsburgh’s bye coming in Week 6, the next chance he’ll have to play is Week 7. Rookie Darnell Washington could see increased snaps with Freiermuth out.
Week 5 opponent: Baltimore Ravens.
Injury: calf strain
Impact: Left last week’s contest early with a calf strain that is likely to linger for sevearl weeks - see Joe Burrow.
Week 5 opponent: New England Patriots
