SIC Roundup: Key Injury Insights from Wednesday 10/11

Travis Kelce - SIC score 88

Injury: right inversion ankle sprain
Impact: Officially questionable but will play Thursday against Denver - by video, suffered a minor inversion lateral right ankle sprain when he planted to turn upfield - not a high ankle sprain despite TV/media speculation - same side as right knee bone bruise that kept him out Week 1

Week 6 Opponent: Denver Broncos

Javonte Williams - SIC score 84

Injury: quad strain
Impact: Now off injury report after 2 straight FPs despite quad strain - still not 100% from multi-ligament left knee injury last season - rookie RB Jaleel McLaughlin will still be in the mix for snaps

Week 6 Opponent: Kansas City Chiefs

Saquon Barkley - SIC score 81

Injury: Right high ankle sprain
Impact: LP on Wednesday - missed Week 5 with right high ankle sprain he suffered in mid-September - likely back this week against the Bills but still not 100%

Week 6 Opponent: Buffalo Bills

Amon-Ra St. Brown - SIC score 71

Injury: groin
Impact: LP on Wednesday puts him on track for a Week 6 return - core muscle injury likely to linger and chance for reaggravation - missed Week 5

Week 6 Opponent: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Austin Ekeler - SIC score 86

Injury: Right high ankle sprain
Impact: Will return for MNF matchup against Cowboys - unlikely to be fully effective in space but can run well straight ahead - missed 3 weeks plus bye with right high ankle sprain

Week 6 Opponent: Dallas Cowboys

Chris Olave - SIC score 83

Injury: toe
Impact: LP with a toe injury he picked up before the W5 game - finished with 2 catches for 12 yards and a touchdown - likely to linger next week against Houston but should play through

Week 6 Opponent: Houston Texans

Jahmyr Gibbs - SIC score 64

Injury: hamstring strain
Impact: DNP Wednesday and considered “day-to-day” - chance he misses this week as he won't be 100% and hamstring is key to being effective in open space

Week 6 Opponent: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Evans - SIC score 72

Injury: hamstring strain
Impact: DNP to start week with hamstring injury he suffered in Week 4 - not a great sign for his availability but we will know more as the week progresses

Week 6 Opponent: Detroit Lions

Week 6 Opponent: Buffalo Bills

Deshaun Watson - SIC score 62

Impact: DNP Wednesday and reportedly dealing with rotator cuff contusion and may not play in Week 6 - suffered injury in W3 and missed W4 along with the bye

Miles Sanders - SIC score 53

Injury: Shoulder

Impact: DNP Wednesday with a shoulder injury - unclear where the injury came from but check back for his practice pattern all week

Week 6 Opponent: Miami Dolphins

Daniel Jones - SIC score 52

Injury: Neck
Impact: DNP Wednesday with neck injury - may not play Sunday as he said his neck was more sore on Wednesday - likely a neck hyperextension he injured on 16th sack in the last 2 games - different from his 2021 neck injury - no risk of paralysis - Jones said after the game “I'll be OK”

Week 6 Opponent: Buffalo Bills
