SIC Roundup: Updates on Players Returning from Injury Following Bye Week

Most NFL fan bases have had numerous highs and lows for their favorite NFL teams. These ups and downs have included blowout wins, nail-biting victories, and heartbreaks, yet NFL fans remain loyal. This season has seen a significant number of star players sidelined due to injuries, with some battling through the pain. Despite their lingering ailments, we will discuss four players who have had the opportunity to use their bye week to recuperate from their injuries.

Austin Ekeler - SIC score 86

Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler has been absent from the team's lineup for the past three games due to a right high ankle sprain. The Chargers have faced difficulties in their ground game in his absence. However, there is optimism that Ekeler will return to action following the Week 5 bye week.

Mike Evans - SIC score 65

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans was sidelined for the team's most recent game due to a hamstring injury. The extent of this injury remains undisclosed, and it is possible that it may persist. The injury likely occurred during an off-screen route towards the conclusion of the first half. Evans has a slim possibility of making a return in Week 6 following a two-week break.

Myles Garrett - SIC score 88

Cleveland Browns EDGE Myles Garrett sustained a left ankle injury during the team's recent game. Although he managed to complete the game, he was later observed wearing a walking boot in the locker room. Nevertheless, there is an anticipation that Garrett will be available to play in Week 6.

Deshaun Watson - SIC score 91

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson was an unexpected absence from the lineup in Week 4. During his absence, backup quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson had a challenging debut. Watson, who is dealing with a right shoulder contusion, could have potentially played through the injury in Week 4 but opted to utilize the bye week for better recovery. It is anticipated that Watson will return as the Browns' starter in Week 6.
