Steelers' LB T.J. Watt Leaves Game With Groin Injury, Unlikely To Return

Pittsburgh Steelers star linebacker T.J. Watt left the game late in the second quarter with a groin injury. It will be hard for the edge rusher to be effective with the groin injury and we do not expect him to return today to avoid aggravation.

Update

Watt did not return after suffering the second quarter groin injury. His status for the Week 3 matchup against the Bengals is up in the air. He is the third Steeler defender dealing with a groin injury. Cornerback Joe Haden and linebacker Devin Bush both missed Week 2 with groin injuries they suffered in practice on Friday.
